Our classic Stollen begins with patience and the gentle heat of a wood-fired oven.
Our bakery artisans carefully mix the dough with rich butter, adding a generous amount of raisins, citrus peel, and almonds. The dried fruits are soaked in rum in advance so that, in the finished Stollen, they unfold with deep aroma and soft sweetness.
The dough is shaped by hand — slowly and calmly, just as it was done long ago. As it bakes, the Stollen absorbs the warmth of the fire and the buttery tenderness, developing a dense yet soft crumb and that unmistakable festive aroma that fills the room long before dawn.
After baking, it is left to mature, growing rounder in flavor, with a harmony of butter, rum, and fruit that only intensifies with time. A dusting of powdered sugar finishes it — like the first quiet snowfall of winter.
